SchlagKraft Xylophone Rubber black 28mm
The XRB-2 BLACK HEAD is just a fine nuance harder than the XRB-1 and is the medium model of SchlagKraft's three rubber heads series xylophone mallets. While it is also an excellent mallet choice for long hours of practicing, it is just slightly harder than the RED Head XRB-1.
With its matte finish, 28 mm size rubber head, this mallet offers a very good balance and performing feel, and can be used in a chamber setting where specifically a soft xylophone sound has been requested. It is a medium-weight xylophone mallet, so your two mallets fast runs and technique practicing will result in building good chops.
Perfect practicing mallets, rubber-wooden sound, best suitable for hours long scales and technique practicing. The XRB-2 is also a very good choice for multi-percussion including bongos, wood blocks etc... It gives a clear and loud outcome but never too harsh.
